Trading between teams can be accomplished in many ways. Three of the most efficient ways to begin negotiating a trade with another team are as follows: (1) Go to the bulletin board to the section entitled “Trade Block”. In this section, you will post the players you wish to trade and/or what types of players you are interested in trading for. Do not post offers to the trade block; (2) Each general manager has provided an email to the contact info page: warningtrackbaseball.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rules to act as a point of contact for their team.
A trade can involve many types of collateral. These include major league players, prospects, salary cap, tags. If salary cap is included in a trade, the maximum amount allowed is 10% of current yr cap. If this occurs, the party offering cap will reduce their salary cap by the appropriate amount, while the party receiving the cap will increase their salary cap by the same amount. You may also traded Salary cap space for the 2 season in the future. The rule for those maximum amounts will be 10% of the current years cap. So in 2012 the cap limit will be 110m, if you want to deal cap for 2014 the max is 11m even though the cap will be increased by then.
Any trade negotiations that conclude in an agreement must be posted to the bulletin board under this section warningtrackbaseball.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=deal. All terms of the trade must be listed here. At this point, the league office will review the trade along with the other GM's of the league. In Warning Track the goal is to give a GM total control over their own destiny. So vetoing trades is not going to be done by the League Office. When a trade is posted to be reviewed if no objections have been received within 48 hours the trade will then be approved and reposted by a LO member in the approved trade section: warningtrackbaseball.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=aok.
If there is an issue about an agreed trade by another GM, that GM is to post his question to the deal in the Trade Discussion section: warningtrackbaseball.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talks.
The subject should be the teams that have agreed to the deal and the body should have a copy of the deal agreed to and your thoughts or worries under it. After this has happened there will be a 48 hr time frame for discussion. After that period if there is an overwhelming call for a rework/veto the LO will then issue the request to agreeing teams (this will need to be more then 1 or 2 GMs with concern, no exact # is needed). This is all controlled by league activity. If this system is not going to be watched by owners then a rewrite to how the trade vote happens will be needed.
Players, prospects, salary cap, all tags, and draft picks are available for trade. Cap for the present yr and 2 future years are available for trade. At no time can more then 10% of the current seasons cap be trade for that or any future season. When trading Cap, draft picks, or tags there are threads created that will list what team assets have been traded and who has what.

At anytime that a GM see an error in any of the archive lists they are encouraged to please post in those forums and provide links for the trade in question.
Every year the Deadline to make all trades will be the last Sunday in August at midnight eastern time.
a. The trade must be posted and confirmed before the midnight deadline. The trade deadline will be the final Sunday in August every season.
b. Once the deadline passes trades will not be approved until the World Series is over, but can be posted in trade section if teams wish to.
